Description

At the team event »Wine Crime Thriller«, all senses are needed in order to uncover an exciting murder case. This is because the victim was a winemaker, and around the scene of the crime, wine residue and broken glasses were found. To reveal the murderer, fine aromas have to be identified and witness statements must be analysed. Along with a good sense of taste, shrewdness will also help. Cheers!

The concept

At the beginning of the team event, the BITOU team trainer introduces what happened with a screen and a projector: a winemaker died unter mysterious circumstances. Around the scene of the crime, broken wine glasses were found, the contents of which could provide clues to the murderer. In addition, there are also multiple witnesses whose statements don’t quite fit together…

The team now has the task of supporting the inspector in the solving of the crime. For this, a digital wine scientist (oenologist) will offer support, by giving helpful hints on analysing the wine remnants through the tablet. Now and then, witness statements will appear which reveal further details of the murder case. Will your team manage to allocate the correct wine samples and reveal the murderer of the winemaker?

All senses ready to receive

Tasting, smelling, seeing – »Wine Crime Thriller« is perfect for teams that like to enjoy themselves. But be careful: you need fine feelers in order to match up all of the evidence correctly and reveal the murder case. Don’t be lured in by the fine wine and keep all of your senses!

The technology

For the video introduction at the beginning, either a large screen or a projection screen and projector is needed. Upon consultation, the BITOU team trainers will happily bring all of the necessary technology with them to the team event. BITOU also provides the tablets which the teams receive the clues for the murder case on.

Where?

A wine region or a wine cellar for the background would round off the »Wine Crime Thriller« perfectly. But a cosy hotel or a nice location with connection to electricity would also be possible. BITOU will happily assist you with the search for an appropriate location (extra charge) for the »Wine Crime Thriller«.

Subtlety for the togetherness in the team

Team work is essential. Even when there is a murder case to solve. Like at all BITOU team events, »Wine Crime Thriller« offers an appropriate task for each colleague type: you have to structure, analyse, communicate, and the solutions have to be creatively put together. After the team event, our team trainers give feedback based on the togetherness that you can reflect on together and apply to everyday working life. Upon request, we can also offer a photo documentation to long remember the day spent together (at an additional cost).
